Service Above Self - what it means.

People of Action with a Purpose - serving our community

Every week, over 2 dozen Plymouth Rotarians meet to learn about the needs of our communities and the broader world, develop action plans, lead projects, support local charitable efforts,  provide academic scholarships, award Career & Technical grants to Plymouth HIgh School seniors, get our hands dirty,  dig in, flip burgers, stain a fence, clean up our natural environment, find the funding, and connect with fellow citizens, both young and old.   All this, aspiring to live up to our motto: Service Above Self.

Supporting Local Causes

Friends of the Pemi

Plymouth Rotary started a "Friends Group" to advocate for, fund, and monitor improvements to the State-owned Livermore Falls Recreational Area. Every year, we do cleanups, invest in equipment, maintain a website, and plan for he future of this amazing place.

Mask up

Supporting Local Causes

Friends of the Pemi

At the start of the COVID pandemic, Plymouth Rotary organized to distribute over 50,000 masks  locally and working with Rotary clubs all over the State.   We called it MaskUpNH and we were early providers of free masks to thousands of families.

Rotary Youth Leadership Academy

This year, we were pleased to be able to contribute to the new Little Antlers Child care facility, by funding part of the inside play area.

Nice, well needed, facility for child care on Tenny Mountain Highway

Rotary Youth Leadership Academy

Each year, we send a group of PRHS sophmores to a weekend academy in Vermont to learn leadership skills for their lifetimes.  Often, this is the first time students have been AWAY with their peers. It's a big experience

Rabies Clinic

Every year, we have a meeting with dozens of Cats and Dogs to get them immunized for Rabies.

Dr. David Cote does the shots, we do the herding.
